Share links are the easiest way to bring collaborators into your CREE8 project—no sign-ups or back-and-forth emails required. Whether you’re gathering feedback, sharing progress, or co-creating in real-time, share links make collaboration fast and seamless. Here’s how they work.
Why use Share Links?
Security: Share Links leave your media on your secure storage instead of uploading to a third party site.
Managed Access: You control access to the download link. You can leave it open, require a password, or even require a Cree8 login and SSO.
Fast Delivery: Your content is available immediately for delivery. No uploading, copying, or transfers required.
You can create a Share Link with the CREE8 Desktop App, through a Web Browser and inside your workstation. Click the drop down for your preferred method.

Navigate to your Projects
Start by logging into your CREE8 Workspace using the Desktop App or Web Browser using your credentials.
Click on the
Projects icon on the left-hand menu.
Locate your media file
Select the project where your media is located.
Click through the file path to locate the file.
Start a new Share Link
Select the drop down options
and select Share
Set Up Your Link
Give your Share Link a clear and memorable name. Adjust any security settings to ensure your content is protected. Select Next.
Select Access Restrictions
Set your security for opening the link
Save and Share
Click Save to finalize your Share Link. It’s now ready to share with collaborators for review, annotations, and comments.

Go to the Links Tab
In your CREE8 workstation, navigate to the Links tab from your Workstation Dashboard.
Start a New Share Link
Open the Share section and click the blue "Add +" button to begin creating your link.
Select your Media
Select the Project where your media lives. Next select the folder icon to use explorer to locate the file. You can then drag and drop into the media area on the right of the Share Link screen.
Set Up Your Link
Give your Share Link a clear and memorable name. Adjust any security settings to ensure your content is protected.
Save and Share
Click Save to finalize your Share Link. It’s now ready to share with collaborators for review, annotations, and comments.
💡 Tip: Share Links can be used for up to 10 files at a time. You can not use a share link to share a folder. If you want to share more files or an entire folder for download please zip the folder first and share the zipped file.
