You can create a Notes Link with the CREE8 Desktop App, through your Web Browser, and inside your workstation. Click the drop down for your preferred method.

Navigate to your Projects
Start by logging into your CREE8 Workspace using the Desktop App or Web Browser using your credentials.
Click on the
Projects icon on the left-hand menu.
Locate your media file
Select the project where your media is located.
Click through the file path to locate the file.
Start a new Notes Link
Select the drop down options
and select Notes Link
Set Up Your Link
Give your Notes Link a clear and memorable name. Adjust Link Expiry and download option to ensure your content is protected. Select Next.
Select Link Access Restrictions
Choose who can access your link.
NOTE: Selecting "Log in required" restricts access to users that have an active CREE8 profile.
Select Next.
Share!
Your link is now ready to share with collaborators for review, annotations, and comments. Select the "Copy Link" button and paste into your favorite comms app (email, text, slack, etc.)

How to Create a Notes Link from your Workstation
Go to the Links Tab
In your CREE8 workstation, navigate to the Links tab from your Workstation Dashboard.
Start a New Notes Link
Open the Notes section and click the blue "Add +" button to begin creating your link.
Select your Media
Select the Project where your media lives. Next select the folder icon to use explorer to locate the file. You can then drag and drop into the media area on the right of the Notes screen.
Set Up Your Link
Give your Notes Link a clear and memorable name. Adjust Expiration Date, Download Option, and Link Protection options.
NOTE: Selecting "CREE8 Login" restricts access to users that have an active CREE8 profile.
Save and Share
Click Save to finalize your Notes Link. It’s now ready to share with collaborators for review, annotations, and comments. Select the Copy icon on the left or select and copy the URL.
Paste into your favorite comms app (email, text, slack, etc.)
Pro Tip: You can only create Notes Links with .mp4, .mkv, .mov, .mp3, and .wav files. If you have a file in a different format you can create a Share Link.

Can I edit a Notes Link after sharing it?
Yes, you can update the name, permissions, or even replace the file. Any changes will automatically reflect for your collaborators.

Access depends on the permissions you set when creating the link. If you would like to change these permissions you can select the Green Lock in the Links section of the Projects menu.
