Session Links make it easy to share live broadcasts directly from your CREE8 Workstation. Whether you're working on a video review or need instant feedback, Session Links provide a seamless way to collaborate in real time.

What Are Session Links?
Session Links are unique URLs that let others view a live stream of your workstation. Perfect for live reviews and approvals, they allow collaborators to see your work in real time—no software installations required.

How to Start a Session

  1. Open the Sessions Tab

    • Go to the Sessions tab in your CREE8 Workstation Dashboard.

    • If you don’t see this option, reach out to your Admin to enable Session permissions.

  2. Start Your Broadcast

    • Click Start Broadcast to begin setting up your session.

  3. Set Up Your Source

    • After starting the broadcast station, select Enable Desktop to use your workstation as the source.

    • Choose the application you want to share (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) by clicking the corresponding icon.

  4. Share the Link

    • Once the broadcast begins, a unique session link will appear. Click the link to copy it.

    • Share this link with your collaborators using your favorite comms app (email, text, slack, etc.) so they can view the live stream in a supported browser.

    • NOTE: the person viewing the link will need to have sufficient bandwidth to watch the stream.

💡 Tip: We recommend Google Chrome for the best experience!

Best Practices for Session Links

  • Streamline Reviews: Use Session Links for live reviews to keep feedback immediate and actionable.

  • Stay Secure: Only share links with trusted collaborators. Links are temporary and tied to the broadcast session.

  • Optimize Performance: Make sure your internet connection is stable for smooth streaming.
