How to Manually Clear Cache in the CREE8 Desktop App (Mac)

If you’re experiencing performance issues, you may need to manually clear the CREE8 Desktop App cache. Follow these steps to do it safely.

Before You Start

  • Make sure to close the CREE8 Desktop App completely before running the steps below.

  • You’ll reopen it after the process is complete.

Steps (Mac Only)

  1. Open Finder and go to Applications.

  2. Navigate to UtilitiesTerminal.

  3. In Terminal, paste the following command (provided by support) and press Enter:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/CREE8/upload-cache-*.json

Wait for the command to run—it should only take a moment.

  1. Once complete, reopen the CREE8 Desktop App and log in again.

Why This Works

Clearing the cache can resolve loading issues, speed up performance, and fix minor glitches caused by outdated or corrupted temporary files.
