How to Enable PCoIP Ultra Display Settings

A quick guide to utilizing the PCoIP Ultra display settings

The PCoIP Ultra display settings enhance your workstation's visual quality, offering lossless support with precise color accuracy and detailed content at the highest frame rates. Follow these steps to enable the Ultra display settings and install the Anyware Client on your operating system.

Step 1: Enabling PCoIP Ultra Display

Follow these steps to turn on the PCoIP Ultra display settings:

  1. Connect to Your Workstation:

    • Begin by connecting to your workstation as you normally would.

  2. Access the Settings Menu:

    • Once connected, locate the Settings or Gear symbol on your Workstation Dashboard tab and click on it.

  3. Enable Ultra Settings:

    • In the settings menu, look for the option labeled PCoIP Ultra.

    • Click to enable this option.

Step 2: Shut Down Your Workstation

  1. Locate the Shutdown Button:

    • After enabling the Ultra setting, go to the top right corner of your Workstation Dashboard.

  2. Shut Down:

    • Click on the Red Button located in the top right corner to safely shut down your workstation.

Step 3: Restart and Verify Ultra Status

  1. Restart Your Workstation:

    • After the shutdown is complete, restart your workstation.

  2. Do Not Connect Yet:

    • Once the workstation has restarted, refrain from connecting to it immediately.

  3. Check the Ultra Status:

    • Notice that the workstation now displays an "Ultra" status, indicating that the Ultra display settings are active and ready for use.

Step 4: Download and Install the Anyware Client

1. Access the Download Link:

  • From this link, download the correct version of the Anyware Client for your operating system.

2. Choose the Correct Version:

  • Ensure you select the version that matches your operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux).

3. Install the Application:

Once the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the Anyware Client on your device.

Step 5: Enable Connection in the CREE8 Desktop Client

  1. Open the CREE8 Desktop Client:

  • Launch the CREE8 Desktop Client on your device.

2. Enable PCoIP Connection:

  • In the CREE8 Desktop Client, locate the PCoIP button.

3. Activate PCoIP:

  • Click the PCoIP button so that it turns yellow. This action enables the Anyware Client application you installed to connect to your workstation.

Step 6: Launch Your Workstation and Connect

  1. Launch the Workstation:

    • Start your workstation. The Anyware Client will automatically open.

  2. Input Your Credentials:

    • When prompted, enter your CREE8 password.

  3. Connect with PCoIP Ultra Display:

    • Once your password is verified, you will connect to your workstation with the new PCoIP Ultra display settings enabled, providing you with a high-performance visual experience.

With the Ultra setting enabled, your display will now be optimized for maximum performance, providing the highest level of color accuracy and detail preservation at top frame rates.
