How to retreive files from your Archive storage to working projects.

What is an Archive Project?

​Archive storage is a lower-cost storage tier designed for lesser-used files and folders. You can easily archive files from your working projects and retrieve them when needed.

How to Retrieve Files or Folders

  1. Log in to your CREE8 account

  2. Go to the Projects section

    • On the left-hand navigation menu, select Projects.

  3. Locate your media file

    • Select the project where your media is located.

    • Click through the file path to locate the file or folder.

  4. Start to Retrieve

    • Select the drop down optionsand select Retrieve .

  5. Select your Destination

    • Select the Project that you want to retrieve to.

    • Then select any folders to determine the full path

    • Click "Select"

  6. Wait for Retrieval

    • You'll see a notification that your file or folder has been queued for Retrieval.

Note: Selecting retrieve multiple times while waiting to for the transfer page to update will cause multiple instances of retrieval. Please be patient.

How can I tell when my content is done?

You can check the Transfer Status tab to view your files process

Why is my file not showing up in Transfer Status?

The length of time to be added to the queue is determined by how many concurrent retrievals are being processed at that time. Not just yours but across the CREE8 platform. We appreciate your patience.

Are there any fees for archiving or retrieving files?

No! There are no fees when moving files to/from Archive Storage.
