Step 1: Plug in your Wacom tablet
Connect your tablet to your local computer before starting your Anyware session.
Step 2: Start your HP Anyware session
Open the Anyware client and connect to your remote workstation as usual.
Step 3: Open the USB Devices menu
Once inside the remote session:
Look for the USB Devices icon (usually at the top or side of the client window).
Click it to open the list of connected devices.
Step 4: Redirect your Wacom tablet
In the list, find your Wacom tablet.
Click Connect to remote session (sometimes called Attach or Redirect).
You should see it switch from local to remote use.
Step 5: Test in Photoshop (or your app)
Open Photoshop (or whichever app you use).
Try a brush stroke—pressure sensitivity should now work.
Tips & Troubleshooting
If you skip Step 4, the tablet will act only as a basic mouse—no pressure sensitivity.
For best performance, always use Locally Terminated Mode (this is automatic in most cases).
Avoid calibrating on the remote workstation with Wacom Center—this can cause pen offset.
If on macOS, you may need to approve USB access in System Settings > Security & Privacy.
